Hey yesterday, our ski rope is drawn in the plane and spent a few hours to leave. We did find the boot on the door slowly, and the piece cut with a pair of pliers (I had) on the boat capable of cutting.
I was wondering, you can get a grid that suck in your custom made cable or a fence or something easy.

I doubt it, but that's usually not a problem if you use the rope, while consciously still sitting. The chain does not catch in its movement, although, as always behind the boat. If your session is to be removed for more than a minute of the rope, or if the boat is not derivative. Then you have the problem. By pulling the rope needed at each meeting for one or two minutes can be a disadvantage, but 5 to 10 seconds, is much better than two hours by car hard enough, not to mention the fact that it could damage bearings, if it occurs repeatedly.
