What type of solution can be used to a printer, which certainly is clean? Am I obligated to take it apart to get it right? Printer prints a few letters / characters.

If you're talking about a jet printer ink, the best thing to do is get out the screwdriver to open 'er up. The use of alcohol and only Q-tips, clean 'er up. The alcohol dries very quickly and leaves no residue. However, small pieces of cotton goes back very carefully to remove fibers. You'll be surprised what you find.
If you want to talk to a laser printer, we recommend you call a printer from the repair company, the toner is too fine to cancel with a normal vacuum cleaner and just a fair. Good luck. Hope this helps.
